Drop-off program
Due to logistics and contractor staffing issues, this year's Household Chemical Roundup is canceled. As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, the city of Aurora offers residents low-cost recycling opportunities year-round. These options keep hazardous materials out of landfills, where they may leach into our water systems. Dispose of household chemicals such as lawn care products, pesticides, motor oil and more through the At Your Door Special Collection (formally Door-to-Door) hazardous waste pickup program by calling 800.449.7587.
Waste Management offers a curbside collection service and emergency drop-off program for residents in a time crunch, (e.g., relocation or home sale). Residents can call the Waste Management hotline, at 800.449.7587 and provide the operator with the reason for the drop-off request. Additional information on materials accepted through the program can be found on the Waste Management website, https://www.wmatyourdoor.com/residential/.
PaintCare
