APD's Response to COVID-19


At this time, and until further notice, the Aurora Police Department will have a modified response to calls for service. Depending on the circumstances of your call you may be asked to complete your report over the phone with an Aurora Police Officer or online. If you are a witness to or a victim of a crime in progress, please call 911. Otherwise, we are strongly encouraging everyone to utilize our online reporting system which can be found here.

In order to ensure the health and safety of the public and our employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Front Lobby of Aurora Police Headquarters will remain open 7 days a week, but with modified/restricted hours – now from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
