Changes are coming
For businesses registered with the city of Aurora, Colorado
Effective May 14, 2018, the city of Aurora, Colorado will be implementing a new tax software system. The software is already in use at the State of Colorado, City and County of Denver and the City of Lakewood. You may be interacting with this software through online websites like Revenue Online for Colorado, Denver eBiz Tax Center or the Lakewood Business Pro.
New licensing software is expected to be implemented in November 2018.
What improvements should I expect?

You will experience a fast, simple & convenient way to file and manage your taxes.

You will be able to file and pay all tax types online.

You can request to go paperless and print your returns and letters from your profile.

You can obtain your own online access and you can allow for others like your CPA or other accounting service to have online access.

You can manage your account online like changing the mailing address, update contact info, request inactivation of an account, etc.

You can view past filings.

You can schedule the filing and payment of your tax return(s).

You can amend returns, request a refund, and add documentation.
Other changes

Online users will need to obtain login access to the new Aurora Tax Portal.

The new software will not accommodate for special accounting periods like 13 month or 4-4-5 accounting periods.

There will no longer be a Schedule C available for sales and use tax filers. Full returns will need to be filed by location.
