2017 National Electrical Code 
The city of Aurora will adopt the 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC) July 10, 2017. All plan submittals will be reviewed against the 2017 NEC effective on that date.

Beware though local codes can circumvent some of the national codes, usually the most restrictive of the options (local state national) is the one that wins out.
