The Aurora Police News Blog was created in 2016 as a new way to share news and information from the Aurora Police Department with the community we serve. It is maintained by the staff of the Media Relations Unit.

Colorado Criminal Justice Records (CCJRA) can be obtained by downloading and completing a CCJRA Request form and e-mailing it to apd-orr@auroragov.org To obtain a request form go to the "Get a Police Record" page and click on the "CCJRA Records Request" button.  If you have any questions you can call the APD Open Records Coordinator at 303.739.6267.

Aurora, Colorado-The Aurora Police will be holding a press conference to brief the media about the circumstances related to a missing person case of Lashaya Nae Stine 16 years old. Lashay was last seen July 15, 2016 at 2:30 a.m.. The conference will take place today at the front entrance of North Middle School (12095 East Montview Blvd ) at 3:30 p.m.. Aurora Chief of Police Nick Metz will be providing an update on the event. The conference will be held in front of the school.
