An additional $2,000.00 has been added by the Aurora Police Reward Fund bringing the total reward up to $4,000.00. Investigators continue to ask for anyone who has any information or may have witnessed anything at all related to this homicide to please come forward and help us bring justice to the victim, and their family.

At around 12:43 this morning, the Public Safety Communications Department received multiple 911 calls about shots being fired at the Viridians at the Gardens on Havana Apartment Complex. When officers arrived on scene they located an adult male suffering from a gun shot wound in a vehicle which was stopped in front of 1276 South Joliet Court. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumb to his injuries.

Detectives from the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit responded to the scene and will be handling the investigation into this crime. Investigators from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit are currently processing the crime scene and are expecting to be at the scene for several hours.

No description of the suspect(s) is available at this time.

The name of victim will be released at a later time by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office.
