At approximately 2136 on 08/31/19 a vehicle driving east bound on E. 6th Ave and struck an adult male pedestrian crossing E. 6th Ave. The Vehicle fled the scene, but left his license plate behind. Driver contacted at the registered address, taken in custody and booked.  Pedestrian was transported to University Hospital and later pronounced. Traffic units investigated on scene. Please refer questions to the Arapahoe County 17th Judicial District Attorney's office.
