Recent Posts

On October 26th, 2018 at approximately 8:15 pm, Aurora Dispatch received several reports of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of South Havana Street and East Mexico Avenue. Upon arrival, one driver was found unresponsive. Both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital with one later being pronounced deceased by medical staff. The other driver does not appear to have life threatening injuries at this time. There were no other occupants in the vehicles.

At this time, the involvement of alcohol and speed will need to be determined.

The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin. This accident marks the 25th accident related fatality in Aurora for 2018.
