On Sunday April 15th at 6:05 AM, Aurora Police responded to S. Havana St. & E. Kentucky Ave. for a crash where a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.  They located a 71 year old male laying in the roadway with injuries consistent with having been struck by a vehicle.  The pedestrian was conscious and alert, but was unable to give any description of the vehicle that struck him.  He was transported to a local hospital where he subsequently died as a result of his injuries.

The Aurora Police Department Traffic Section is investigating this crash and encourages any witnesses to contact Detective Ragain at 303-739-6351.  The Arapahoe County Coroner's Office will release the identity of the victim after notification of family.
