Help APD Solve Eriq Burrell's Murder 
On the early morning hours of April 29, 2017, Eriq Burrell, a 34 year old male, arrived at a local area hospital suffering from a stab wound. Burrell succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. It is believed that the stabbing occurred in the area of E. Iliff Ave. and S. Xanadu Way in Aurora, Colorado. This case remains unsolved and for this reason, the Aurora Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in solving this case.

This is still an active and on-going investigation and there are no further details to provide at this time. The Major Crimes/Homicide Unit is handling the investigation into this matter. At this time there is no suspect information available for release.

The Aurora Police Department is asking anyone with information about this case to contact Agent Jamie Krieger with the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit at 303-739-6113. Tipsters can also provide information to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers by calling 720-913-7867. By using Crime Stoppers tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
