Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash On E. 38th Ave

On December 7th at 3:29 a.m., Aurora Police and Fire responded to a single-vehicle crash on eastbound E. 38th Avenue East of Windsor Drive. Responding units found a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup on its side in the westbound portion of the roadway and a male that had been ejected from the pickup.  Investigation found that the pickup was traveling eastbound when it lost control, crossed over into the westbound portion of the roadway and rolled multiple times. The driver was ejected from the truck and died as a result of his injuries.  The driver is a 26 year old male and was the only occupant.  His identity is not being released at this time, that will be done by the Adams county coroner's office.  Speed and failure to use the seatbelt are factors being investigated in this crash.
