On April 14, 2019, at 12:01 A.M., officers responded to the area of East 58th Avenue and North Flanders Street on reports of a vehicle fire.
Once the fire had been extinguished, an unidentifiable body was found inside of the vehicle. Information is limited at this time.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Adams County Coroner's Office once a positive identification has been made, and next of kin has been notified.
Due to the suspicious nature of this death, the Aurora Police Major Crimes/Homicide Unit is handling this investigation. Aurora Police is asking anyone with information about this case to contact Agent Frederickson with the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit at 303-739-6106.
