Aurora is home to two reservoirs, Aurora Reservoir and Quincy Reservoir. Both of Aurora's quality reservoirs are favorite fishing spots and have produced four state record fish: Tiger muskie, catfish, smallmouth bass and white sucker. Learn more about Fishing at these reservoirs.
Non-motorized boats are welcome at both reservoirs and a Watercraft Access Pass is required. If you don't have your own vessel; rent a fishing boat, kayak, paddle boat and much more at the Aurora Reservoir boat rental station. Aurora Reservoir has seven reservable shelters. Shoreline shelters can accommodate up to 20 people and larger shelters can accommodate up to 300.
Both Aurora Reservoir and Quincy Reservoir were featured on the Adventure Page of In-Fisherman Magazine for July 2013. Check out the article here. Better yet, come visit the Reservoirs yourself and check out the great fishing!
The reservoirs host various events and competitions throughout the year. Hours of operation at the reservoir vary by month. Both reservoirs are fee-based facilities.
