For storm related tree limb drop off, the Parks, Recreation & Open Space department has opened a drop-off site - daily through May 1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Lowry Park, 1001 Dayton St. Only storm damage/tree limbs will be accepted (no other debris or trash). For questions regarding tree limb drop off please call Forestry at 303.739.7177.

Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. or at the conclusion of scheduled activities.
Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Aurora Center for Active Adults, or ACAA, provides programs & services for adults 50 & older. Adults 18 years and older are welcome at the center and may participate in programs as space allows. ACAA programs are for active adults who can function independently. Individuals who need assistance may participate in programs if accompanied by someone who will provide assistance. Drop-In Programs & Services at ACAA

With your paid admission, the ACAA offers the following programs:
  • Weight & Exercise Room - featuring weights, treadmills, NuStep, the Wave, bikes & elliptical machines. *Free orientation required before first visit.
  • Drop-in Fitness Class
  • Billiards
  • Wii Games
  • Bingo, Every Thu., 12:30-2 p.m.
  • Pitch, Every Wed., 12:30-3:30 p.m.
  • Quilting Bee, Every Wed., 1-3 p.m.
  • Red Hat Crafters, Every Tue., 9-11 a.m. 
Services hosted at the ACAA include: Volunteers of America Noon Meal, AARP Tax Assistance, Visiting Nurse Association Health Clinic, AARP Safe Driving Course, Low Vision Support Group, Rocky Mountain Food Bank Commodities, and Massage/Reflexology.
