KidSpree is a zany and fun outdoor festival for kids in the heart of Aurora, Colo., that draws thousands of kids and parents each year in June. Activities, performances, and attractions, offers the ideal mix for families. The event is hosted by the city of Aurora, and entices both local residents and visitors with fantastic food, crafts, booths/vendors, pony rides, live performances, face painting and so much more.

This event is free, and this year event organizers are allowing participants to give back by donating to a local food pantry. A collection station will be set up during the event to support The Little Flower Assistance Center in Aurora. The group is in need of the following items:
• Dry beans, rice, dry pasta
• Powdered and canned milk
• Canned tomatoes/beans/fruit
• Peanut butter, jelly
• Bar soap, deodorant, sunscreen, lip balm
Some vendors selling food and merchandise will be on site.

Join the fun as a volunteer for KidSpree on Saturday, June 6. The city of Aurora’s KidSpree on the Great Lawn at the Aurora Municipal Center will feature a fun-filled day of family activities, entertainment and delicious food. Volunteers are needed to assist with face painting, arts and crafts, games, and much more. Volunteers will be asked to work in 4 hour shifts and any volunteers 18 or older will be submitted to a required background check.
