Water Tour - 2015
Aurora Water Tour
Want to learn more about Aurora's water system? We host a two-day, overnight tour of the city’s mountain water supply and delivery system for our citizens and regional policy makers. Water is a critical issue in Colorado and there is a heightened interest in where our water supplies come from and how we will meet our future needs. Aurora’s water supply system spans three river basins and serves more than 351,000 people. This year’s tour will be held on Wednesday, August 10 and Thursday, August 11. Guests include city council members, county commissioners, state and federal legislators and staff, regional water entities, regulators and community leaders. If you would like to attend this year's tour, please let us know why you want to attend and what you'd like to learn.
