For storm related tree limb drop off, the Parks, Recreation & Open Space department has opened a drop-off site - daily through May 1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Lowry Park, 1001 Dayton St. Only storm damage/tree limbs will be accepted (no other debris or trash). Trash Collection

Trash removal services at your home are provided by private companies.  The following companies are licensed with the city of Aurora to provide residential trash pick up service.

Weekly Residential Service
Limited Service Areas

All homes in the city of Aurora are required to have weekly trash service. Trash needs to be in an approved, secure trash container, which some trash companies will provide for a small fee. Trash containers should be stored in the gargage, backyard or properly screened in the rear side yard out of view of the adjacent street.

These companies may also provide recycling pickup from your home.  Since programs vary between companies, check with your trash hauler for information on recycling with your trash pick up.
