For storm related tree limb drop off, the Parks, Recreation & Open Space department has opened a drop-off site - daily through May 1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Lowry Park, 1001 Dayton St. Only storm damage/tree limbs will be accepted (no other debris or trash). The Aurora Civil Service Commission is responsible for administering all exams for entry level police officer applicants.  Civil Service Commissioners make the final hiring selection for all basic entry applicants testing for a civil service (police officer or firefighter) position with the City of Aurora.  Any questions in reference to application status, exam scheduling, and background investigations should be directed to the commission.  CLICK HERE to find more information about the entry level testing process.
