Welcome to Aurora, Colorado

Aurora streamlines public meeting booking process

Plan your next meeting with ease and confidence, using the city of Aurora‚Äôs online meeting room reservation system. The improved online process streamlines reservations and provides low to no cost meeting room space in city facilities.

Public meeting rooms are available for meetings and other types of events by Aurora-based organizations, businesses and individuals on a first come, first serve basis up to two times a month, with a maximum of four hours per reservation.

Under the new upgrades to the process, lead time for making reservations increased to 120 days in advance of the meeting to allow users additional time for scheduling meetings. As a cost savings measure, the city will be closing the Aurora Municipal Center on Thursday and Friday evenings at 6 p.m.  Rooms are available at other city facilities through the room reservation system on those evenings.

There is a flat rate room use fee, assessed when the reservation is made, ranging from $10 to $25 per meeting based on the room size. To help cover a portion of the custodial and room maintenance costs, a small impact fee is charged to groups serving food or beverages.  The impact fee the Aurora Municipal Center is $25 per meeting, fire stations are $10 per meeting, and libraries do not allow food to be served in meeting rooms.  Registered HOAs and related neighborhood groups will continue to be able to use city meeting rooms at no cost.

Rooms are available at the Aurora Municipal Center, city libraries and fire stations 1, 2, 3, 11 and 14.  Visit the website at www.auroragov.org/meetingrooms for more information about these rooms and other facilities.
