ACAA Earns Re-Accreditation:
The Aurora Center for Active Adults (ACAA) has been awarded national accreditation for the second time, and is one of only 176 in the country to earn the designation.
Library Closures:
Four of Aurora's seven public libraries will close by Dec. 31 due to budget reductions and a failed ballot question in the November election.
Aurora named 3rd top Digital City in America:
Aurora has placed in the top five digital cities for the past six years. This year Aurora has taken 3rd place in the largest population category of 250,000 and over.
Aurora Police Sgt honored with Excellence in Law Enforcement award:
Aurora Police Sergeant M. Young was presented with the first-ever Excellence in Law Enforcement Award by Colorado Attorney General John Suthers.
