COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Purpose
To advise City Council as to the concerns of Veterans relating to transportation, housing, employment, and other areas affecting Veterans in the City. Make recommendations to City Council of solutions to these issues and concerns. Serve as a source of information regarding resources and services available to Veterans. Exercise other powers and duties as may be assigned to it by City Council.

 

Qualifications
Must be an Aurora resident, registered voter, and honorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces.

Veterans Salute

The Wings over the Rockies Air and Space Museum will host the 14th annual Aurora Veterans Salute on Wednesday, November 12. Come for a coffee social, museum tours, luncheon, and a veterans tribute.
