Children's Hospital Expansion: Less than three years after moving to a brand-new facility on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, The Children's Hospital is building a new tower to treat more children in the state and region. 	Arapahoe County distributes $10.6 million for open space, park and trail projects: The Arapahoe County Board of County Commissioners also awarded Aurora with the Our Progress Takes Flight Stewardship award recognizing outstanding leadership, cooperation and stewardship to ensure the conservation and protection of the outdoors.		Aurora Fire Chief Garcia recognized for professional excellence: Aurora Fire Chief Mike Garcia has achieved professional accreditation by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International Chief Fire Officer Designation Program.
