Aurora Public Schools
More than 110 years old, Aurora Public Schools is Aurora’s original and most diverse school district. The district currently is undergoing a massive refurbishment, with every school scheduled to receive improvements in the next few years thanks to a $225 million bond approved by voters in 2002.
Cherry Creek School District
With more than 43,000 students, the Cherry Creek School District is one of the top performing school districts in Colorado. The district serves Aurora as well as three other surrounding communities.
Bennett Public Schools
Undeveloped land in Aurora that extends east of Monaghan Road, north of County Line Road and south of 72nd Avenue falls within the Bennett Public Schools district.
Brighton Public Schools
Aurora residents who live in the new Highpoint at DIA neighborhood attend Brighton Public Schools.
Douglas County School District
Residents of Aurora’s Rocking Horse neighborhood along Gartrell Road, just north of Inspiration Road, are part of the Douglas County School District.
