Reorganization streamlines city services, operations

Residents might notice a few changes in the city of Aurora this year with a recent reorganization of some city operations and services. As part of the reorganization, changes will be made to the city’s Web site at www.auroragov.org that may cause bookmarks to be lost and links to be broken. The change in the website will take place on November 2

The reorganization was designed to “rightsize” the city in relation to economic constraints and workloads, improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, maximize the use of available resources, enhance customer service, consolidate and align services, reduce costs and eliminate duplications.
