Four Wheel Driver Response Group -- Kick-Off & Recruiting Event for the 2009-2010 season

Saturday, September 19 at Off Road Ltd., 14200 E. Colfax Avenue
10 a.m. Orientation for New & Interested Drivers
11 a.m. Vehicle Inspection for New & Returning Drivers
LUNCH WILL BE SERVED
The Adams County 4x4 Response Team and the Aurora Volunteers in Disaster (A.V.I.D.) 4x4 Team are used for critical transportation during an emergency. You will transport:
- Home-bound to doctor’s appointments and other necessary trips.
- Critically-needed medical and government employees
- Transport critical supplies
- Citizens with non-emergency medical conditions.
Drivers are never asked to tow vehicles, transport emergency or critical patients or sent into dangerous areas.
Volunteers must possess their own 4x4 vehicle and be able to provide:
- Current vehicle registration, driver’s license, and insurance
- CBI Background Check
- Motor vehicle records check
