Aurora Seeks nominations for 2009 Business Recognition Awards

The city of Aurora is seeking the nominations for its annual Business Recognition Awards Program.

The city will honor both small and large outstanding businesses.

Nominees must be licensed to operate within both Aurora and the State of Colorado and will be evaluated based on several factors including longevity, innovation, exemplary customer service delivery, and community involvement. Major companies can also be nominated for a significant capital investment and/or annual revenues.

Launched in 2005 by Aurora City Manager Ron Miller, the Business Recognition Program aspires to build and reinforce relationships with local businesses and entrepreneurs. The city also uses this program to appreciate new businesses within Aurora by recognizing them for significant achievements throughout the year.

Nomination forms are available on the city’s web site, www.auroragov.org or at
http://www.aurorabdc.com/NominationForm_BusRecognitionAwards_2009.pdf and must be completed and returned no later than August 3, 2009.
