AURORA, Colo. – View juried exhibits of paintings, photography and miniatures by artists of local, regional and national importance at the 15th annual Gateway to the Rockies Art Exhibit from Nov. 13 to Dec. 19 at the Aurora History Museum.
A wine and cheese reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 13 will kick off Aurora’s largest annual art show. Some of the artists will be available at the opening reception to discuss their work, door prizes will be distributed and unframed artwork will be available for purchase.
Artwork will be for sale throughout the exhibit, and 30 percent of proceeds will help fund cultural programs in Aurora.
The Gateway to the Rockies Art Exhibit is presented by the Aurora Artists Guild, co-sponsored by the Aurora History Museum and the City of Aurora Cultural Services Division, and funded in part by the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District.
