FallFest offers a safe environment in which children can enjoy autumn-themed entertainment and much more. Live stage performances and music by the Aurora Symphony Orchestra are included in this year’s exciting line-up. Other favorites will include pumpkin carving by artist Tony Carrillo, a ring toss, pumpkin bowling, old-fashioned sack races, “junk jam,” (music made with junk), a body-bending obstacle course, and a mobile playground. Kids can also create art from food, and even get their nails done to look like candy corn. Youngsters will receive treat bags, refreshments and free pumpkins (while supplies last).
Event sponsors include Wells Fargo, State Farm, Colfax Corridor Weed & Seed, and Aurora’s Community Development and OAR divisions. Additional support is provided by the Aurora Police Department, Aurora Youth Commission, Citizens Police Alumni Association, North Middle School Drill Team, Northern Aurora Business Association and Aurora’s Television & Cable Services Division.
