AURORA, Colo. – Discover the personal stories of the 10th Mountain Division at an illustrated talk from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Aurora History Museum, 15051 E. Alameda Parkway.
Retired Lt. Col. Earl Clark will discuss the 10th Mountain Division’s unique training at Camp Hale in the Colorado mountains and their heroic legacy. The cost for “It All Started at Camp Hale” is $3 ($2 Aurora residents).

After the talk, explore the museum’s exhibit, “Colorado’s 10th Mountain Division,” which features photographs and maps depicting troop training and deployment life. In addition, military artifacts on loan from the 10th Mountain Division Living History Display Group are available to view, including a cook set with pot and stove, reversible ski parka, climbing gear, rucksack and more.
