Aurora Fox Arts Center Board
Meeting Minutes 7/10/2008

Attendance: Wendy Bullock, Suellyn Cota, Georg Hill, Gene Jackson, Su Ryden

Absent: Margaret Day, Marita Kenney, Donald Armstrong, Chloe Johnson

Staff/Guests: Robert Salisbury, Bobbie Rubin, Brian Barney

1. Board approved minutes of June 12, 2008 as written.

2. Events Committee Report and Activities:
a) The Board discussed the 2008 Gala and silent auction.

Committee reported that all planning activities are on schedule.

Suellyn Cota will email silent auction lists to all members.

Su Ryden will check with Chambers Liquors for wine donations.

Suellyn Cota will check with Esteamers for a coffee donation.

Board members addressed envelopes for mailing Gala invitations.

Board members were reminded to sell tickets and to complete their contact list for silent
auction items

4. Operations Committee Report and Activities:
a) No report.

5. Fund Raising Committee Report and Activities:
a) I Built the BOX materials were distributed to Board members. Board discuss the initial
fund raising phase for I Built the BOX! campaign which is scheduled as part of the
September Gala with a follow up event for the November/December production. It was
suggested that those who contribute at the Gala received a hard hat and certificate that
night.

6. Recruitment Committee Report and Activities:
a) No Report

7. Meeting was held at the Banks in Harmony Concert at Del Mar Park. The meeting started at
6:00 p.m. and adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
