Aurora Reservoir offers fishing, sailing, non-motorized boating, windsurfing, a seasonal swim beach, SCUBA area, archery range, and large group picnic shelters. Stroll or ride your bike on the 8 mile multi-use, concrete trail that circles the reservoir. Detail of Facilities Reservoir Trail Map The Swim Beach is now open. Lifeguards on duty from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., weather dependent. Just 2 ¼ miles east of E-470 and south of Quincy Avenue, the reservoir is located off of Powhaton Rd, 1 ¼ miles south of Quincy Avenue. Shelter Reservations and Special Events – The picnic shelters and portions of the park are available for rent. Large events also require a permit.
