Welcome to Meadowood Recreation Center, home to the City of Aurora Gymnastics Program. If you have an interest in Gymnastics we have a class or experience for you! We offer more than 12 different types of gymnastics opportunities for interested participants walking to age 18. Program Information Our Program includes Gymtastics (walking – 2), Little Gyms (2-3), Gym Jets (4-5), Gymnastics for Daycare (5 & Under), Girls Gymnastics (6 & up), Flames (5-7), Tumble Tramp (6-16), Birthday Parties, Summer Camps, Pre-team, Aurora Illusions Competitive Team, Open Gym, and Tiny Tot Drop In. About the City of Aurora Gymnastics Program The City of Aurora’s Gymnastics program started as one class at Overland High School in 1977 and has grown under the guidance of Holly Harper-Smith, to one of the largest recreation programs in the country. Our program runs year round with 5 sessions per year that last between 7 and 9 weeks each. Participants currently registered in our program have the option to re-register before openings are offered to newcomers. You child can wear a leotard, or something comfortable to move in, such as a T-shirt and shorts or sweatpants. No socks or shoes. Hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer. No jewelry. Parents: with your child’s best interest in mind & to provide the best learning environment, we would like to remind you that parents & siblings are not allowed in the gym during the scheduled class time.
