Events and Programs, like the Trails Day 5k, are held annually at Aurora’s parks, trails, recreation facilities and natural areas.

We feature year-round programs through
Aurora’s Morrison Nature Center!

ACTIVITIES & HOOPLA

Arbor Day is celebrated each Spring by the Parks, Recreation & Open Space Department with education and tree planting projects in our community. Contact Aurora Forestry to learn more 303-739-7177.

   

Trout Tournament is held each year at Aurora Reservoir. The event will be held on May 15 and the winner is guaranteed $10,000!

   

Trails Day includes a 5K run/walk, bike exploration and lots of information
about Aurora’s Trails. Join us June 5, 2010. Where will the trail take you?

Galloping Goose 5K & 10K at Quincy Reservoir was a great success. Runners competed on a certified 5K trail at one of Aurora’s most beautiful natural areas. Visit RaceMeasure.com/Races/Quincy for course information.
