You can call them to pick up an injured or stray animal. Owners should search kennels in the shelter frequently for lost pets. The shelter also has many animals available for adoption.

Colfax Ave. Second Floor Aurora, CO 80010 303-739-7900 The city’s Home Ownership Assistance Program (HOAP) offers a variety of housing related counseling services as well as educational seminars and financial assistance to help qualified, first-time homebuyers. Other programs include commercial and home rehabilitation, emergency repair and tree removal grants, and various public facilities projects.

Colfax Ave. Second Floor Aurora, CO 80012 303-739-7929 “OAR” has implemented and is responsible for overseeing the Northwest Aurora Revitalization Strategy. OAR staff work with the northwest Aurora communities toward the renewal of original Aurora and is a resource for various organizations in the effort for revitalizing Aurora’s older neighborhoods.
