NEW! You can now make a credit card donation to the Aurora Animal Shelter at the bottom of this page.
The Aurora Animal Shelter gratefully accepts both cash and in-kind donations. All contributions are used to benefit animals under its care.
Cash donations are used to pay for veterinary needs and medical treatment for shelter animals, and to support to support cruelty prevention and education programs.

|
Checks should be made payable to the Aurora Animal Shelter and mailed to the above address.
Each small, tax-deductible donation can make a huge difference for one homeless dog or cat. It may even save its life. Without proper medical attention, many of these animals cannot be adopted to new families.
Donations have helped some homeless pets receive treatment for severe cuts, burns, infections, viruses, parasites, broken bones and even dental problems. Antibiotics and pain relievers have also been purchased from the shelter’s donation account.

The shelter uses dry dog and/or cat food to feed animals in our facility unless an animal has special dietary requirements. We also distribute food to low-income families for their pets, to shut-ins who cannot get out to buy pet food, and to people with a temporary need for help.
Please bring in-kind donations directly to the Aurora Animal Shelter at the above address.
Thank you for your generosity and consideration!
