	MISSION STATEMENT The City of Aurora Historic Preservation Commission was established by Chapter 8, Article XXIII, 1985 Aurora Code. Its mission is to administer and enforce provisions of the Code. The purpose of Section 146-1997, Division 9, Article XVII 1997 Aurora Code is to establish historic areas and landmarks for the educational, cultural and economic benefits of Aurora citizens.

	COMMISSION INFORMATION The Aurora Historic Preservation Commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Aurora History Museum’s Community Gallery.
