A five-panel mural created by Denver artist Jason Needham and 40 DAVA youth depicts a colorful community street scene. Needham led the young artists through a series of foundational drawings, paintings, and writing exercises to create this vibrant series of five murals.
This public art project is one of five significant public art projects totaling more than $200,000 that will be installed by the summer of 2007 in the Arts District, a 16-block area located generally along the historic commercial corridor from Clinton to Geneva Streets on East Colfax Avenue.
