Let’s think together.

The Power of One program is back for its fifth year in 2010.

Join us for a year-long program designed to unite and inspire the community through a series of cultural experiences related to medicine.

Exchange ideas. Explore emotions. Create conversation. Connect with your community.

Call 303-739-6617 or e-mail jpatters@auroragov.org for more information.

This year’s Power of One programs coincide with the arrival of the American Library Association traveling panel exhibit, “John Adams Unbound,” on display from Dec. 26 to Feb. 19 at the Aurora History Museum.

Part I: The Power of One Book
Pick one or all to read with the community: adult fiction, adult non-fiction and youth.

Part II: The Power of One Film
Nothing unites strangers like a dark theater, a big screen and another world brought to life through strips of cellulose.

Part III: The Power of One Perspective
Think you’ve heard it all? Think again. Discover a new way of looking at things. Or find an ally at the podium.

The Power of One is presented by the City of Aurora Library & Cultural Services and sponsored by the Friends of the Aurora Public Library, in partnership with Barnes & Noble and the Colorado Film School at Lowry.
